Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with nearly 20 years of nursing experience across psychiatric care, behavioral health, pediatrics, geriatrics, home health, hospice, and acute care settings.
Experienced in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, therapeutic communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration across inpatient and outpatient environments.
Transitioned intentionally into psychiatric mental health over the past several years through progressive behavioral health nursing roles in adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, medication management, and acute behavioral health settings while completing a Master’s degree as a PMHNP. Currently practicing as a PMHNP-BC in outpatient psychiatry and as Co-Founder of Best Behavioral Services, providing individualized psychiatric care and medication management for adolescents and adults.

Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), VA-trained veteran with emergency and critical care experience. Significant background treating PTSD and traumas of all kinds, especially in support of veterans and first responders.
Focuses on teaching: which diagnoses are chosen, how medications work, and why therapy helps. Perfect for people who have always wanted more education about their mental health but couldn’t find someone who had the time to explain.
For any diagnosis, she is LGBTQIA+ friendly, gender affirming, and believes in health at any size.

Jen is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and adults. She believes mental health treatment should be individualized, collaborative, and centered on understanding each person's unique experiences—not just their symptoms.
Her passion for psychiatry is rooted in both professional and personal experience. Navigating her own child's mental health journey gave her firsthand insight into the importance of compassionate, knowledgeable care and continues to shape her approach to listening, advocacy, and partnership with patients.
Jen earned her nursing degrees from New Hampshire Community Technical College, the University of Massachusetts Boston, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Before becoming a PMHNP, she worked in telemetry and emergency medicine, experiences that reinforced the close connection between physical and mental health.
She treats a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related disorders, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric concerns. Jen combines medication management with psychoeducation, supportive therapy, and practical strategies to help patients better understand their mental health and make informed decisions about their care.
Jen also has a special interest in perinatal mental health. She has completed advanced training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and is currently pursuing her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C®).
Her goal is for every patient to feel heard, understood, and supported, leaving each appointment with greater clarity and a personalized plan for moving forward.

As Billing Manager at Best Behavioral Services, she oversees billing operations, insurance coordination, claims management, collections, and workflow optimization to help ensure an efficient and seamless experience for both patients and providers.
Known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional customer service, Crystal has extensive experience navigating the complexities of behavioral health insurance and reimbursement processes. She is passionate about creating streamlined systems that improve operational efficiency while supporting compassionate, patient-centered care.

Alyssa is a Registered Nurse with over three years of combined clinical nursing and medical administrative experience supporting psychiatric and wellness practices. Her background in both direct patient care and healthcare administration allows her to provide efficient, compassionate support while ensuring providers and patients receive exceptional service.
She has extensive experience managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, patient communications, medical documentation, and chart preparation.
Before transitioning into medical administration, Alyssa worked as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, where she gained valuable experience in patient assessment, medication administration, multidisciplinary care coordination, and delivering high-quality care in fast-paced clinical settings.
Known for her attention to detail, organization, and strong communication skills, Alyssa is dedicated to creating a seamless experience for both patients and providers while supporting the delivery of high-quality behavioral healthcare.
