Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

(PMHNP) – Independent Contractor (Hybrid Environment)

Location: Utah

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099) – Part-Time or Full-Time

Compensation: 70/30 revenue split (provider receives 70%)

Position Overview:

Best Behavioral Services is seeking a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing practice in a hybrid environment, providing both telehealth and in-person services. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated, professional clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive practice setting. The provider/owner is willing to train and mentor the right candidate, making this a strong opportunity for both experienced PMHNPs and

dedicated newer graduates.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits
• Provide care in a hybrid environment (telehealth and in-person)
• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with Utah regulations
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Deliver high-quality, ethical patient care

Qualifications:

• Board-certified PMHNP
• Active and unrestricted Utah APRN license and DEA (or ability to obtain)
• Comfortable practicing in a hybrid environment
• Strong clinical judgment and professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
